Wordle!

Word puzzle geeks unite! There’s a new game in town!

Thanks to our friend, Tera Lynn Childs (whose debut novel, Oh.My.Gods is getting raves reviews), I learned about a website called Wordle. It allows you to type in key words from a particular theme and create what looks like a word scramble.

Here’s what I made for THE ABC’S OF KISSING BOYS, featuring characters and key words and themes:

Hop on over there and create your own Wordles. Maybe commemorate important relationships (Best friend? Boyfriend?) or events (Prom? Teammates?). And remember to press “Randomize” for numerous different lay-outs.

Have fun and let us know how you like it!

Another author "wordled" your book, Kelly? What a lovely testament to how much she clearly liked it.

Yours turned out so pretty, Tina. Then again, we already know your words are art. =)

LOL, TLC...you're a keeper, ma'am.

Thanks, Christy...it's fun!

And for anyone who cares, I had to delete my first comment because it came out wrong...and my "preview" button stopped working a month or so ago, so it's "publish" or nothing.

Yesterday was my anniverary and I thought of all the great things that describe her, then "Wordled" it. It turned out better than I thought it would so I printed it on some nice paper and tossed it in a frame. She loved it! This Internet thing just may take off!

Chuck, what a terrific Wordle story...and happy anniversary to you and your wife!

Incidentally, I made and sent one to Kelly about our cp-ship that I also printed and posted next to my computer. :)

Wife? Who said anything about a wife? ;)

TinaFerraro said...

Okay, Chuck, um...significant other?

BTW, my oldest daughter has been "Wordling" all day. We've created a monster!

Hey, glad we drew in your daughter, too, Chuck! I showed it to mine today ad we decided it might work well for homemade birthday cards.
