Every now and then as I am passing by my bookshelf, a title will leap out at me. Often it’s a favorite (which is why I kept it!) and often I find myself remembering what I’d loved so much about it...and wishing I could read it again for the first time. That I was back edge of my seat, spellbound, wondering What. Would. Happen. Next.
Like when I read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Split by Swati Avashthi, When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead, and so many others.
How about you? Tell us in the comments the name of a favorite book you wish you could experience (again) for the first time, and be entered to win a copy of Rachel Vincent’s My Soul to Steal!
The winner will be drawn randomly and announced on Monday!

I would love to reread Diana Gabaldon's Outlander again for the first time. I read it for the first time when I was fourteen and I've read it over fifty times since but I wish I could recapture that new and exciting feel.
Seriously, Harry Potter just blew me away! My son's teacher sent home a note about a controversial book she was going to read his class (3rd grade)that contained witchcraft and wizardry. I picked it up and read it from start to finish in a day. (Wendy's drivethru for dinner)(blech) I will never forget falling in love with that series:)

I wish I could experience Brightly Woven for the first time!
Hunger Games!
Twilight. I bought it at the airport and read it at odd intervals through three cities. I wish now I'd been able to read it at home without distractions!
There are so many books on my TBR list that I have to force myself not to re-read a few. One that I am almost never able to resist is This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. I usually have to grab it every few months and read it again.

I'll second Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins. I read it when it came in to the library, without reading Hex Hall (d'oh!). I like it waaaay more than I thought I would. Now I wish I could go back, read Hex Hall, THEN read Demonglass for the first time!
I'm reading The Hunger Games right now and can't think of any other book. It's actually taking over my life!
Definitely Tempest Rising and tera lynn childs books

I wish that I could read The Count of Monte Cristo again. It has so many twists and turns and surprises that I didn't have a clue where it was going to end, but I sure enjoyed the ride!
Thank you for the giveaway!
