It's officially fall, which happens to be my favorite season. I love hauling the jeans and jackets out of the closets and my socks from the far reaches of the drawer. I adore seeing the leaves change and hearing them crunch under my feet as I cross them on sidewalks and in the street. And I usually cannot resist treating myself to pumpkin and chai lattes in ongoing celebration.
I hope all of our readers enjoy this glimpse of fall in my (southern California) neck of the woods. And tell us: do you like fall, too? If so, what are your favorite sights and sounds and tastes and scents of the season?

My favorite thing about fall is definitely apple picking which leads to all sorts of apple desserts!
Autumn leaves, (Utah has the greatest!)jackets and sweatshirts, caramel apples, chili and cornbread:)
Brendajean, I had the pleasure of spending a few September days in Park City last fall, and it was magnificient!
I love fall. In fact, I may love it as much as summer. Fall brings the autumn colors and the end of the year holidays. It brings also thoughts of soft rains, cool nights, and cuddling with a good book. :)
The leaves changing colors. The hint of winter. Wearing warm, snuggly clothes. Sitting by the fire. Anticipating the winter Holidays.
I LOVE fall. I live in the South so we don't get too much leaf change but I like to go to the mountains and enjoy it up there. My favorite part is the cooler days and the wardrobe change, I like summer clothes a lot but I get tired of them after eight months of wearing them and I want something different. I also love pumpkin lattes, my favorite seasonal flavor I think.
