I think that old abandoned buildings are lovely...in a tragic way. They used to be brand new once upon a time, they used to be inhabited, but now all that remains are the memories and ghosts. The bricks may be crumbled, the glass windows shattered, and the foundations cracked and overflowing with weeds, but abandoned buildings will always be lovely to me.

ReplyDeleteI think it is lovely that I happened to find Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely books, by wandering around Borders, knowing that I wanted to read a faery novel, but had no idea what to pick up, and had not then heard of Wicked Lovely - and then stumbled upon Melissa's Wicked Lovely books - and the rest is history. I am addicted!
